We worked with Vot-ER and Institute for Responsive Gov to develop the “Thrive Through Civic Health: We Will Vote Campaign.”
The Thrive Through Civic Health: We Will Vote initiative serves as a call to action designed to be taken at the individual, organizational, and field levels and allows for a breadth of leadership development opportunities across the health sector.
Curation
We harvest promising practices and distill them into salient tools and resources to make it as easy as possible for busy health professionals to promote civic engagement.
Civic Health Alliance implemented the first-of-its-kind training for medical residents at an academic medical center. We co-created a targeted training to provide residents with actionable tools to engage themselves and their patients in civic health. The training provided tailored case studies specific to the local community.
Collaboration
We embrace partnerships with mission aligned organizations to share, learn, and celebrate together as we accelerate our individual and collective efforts to increase civic engagement amongst those who seek and deliver care.
In collaboration with the Doctors for America, we co-hosted a webinar on leveraging our collective voices to resist healthcare cuts in light of H.R.1. The webinar is just the start in a series of ongoing efforts to mobilize, engage, and empower health care professionals and communities to advocate for change.
