Nina joung

Nina Joung is a communications expert by profession and a community builder at heart—and vice versa! An Emmy Award-winning digital producer, she’s managed digital communities and content highlighting income inequality, racial injustice, reproductive health and various other social issues. Throughout her career, she’s had the privilege to work alongside PBS, FRONTLINE, PBS Digital Studios, Sunrise Movement, The Guardian, and The Mastercard Foundation.

In addition to her role at Civic Health Alliance, Nina is a social media fellow for New_Public and an editorial coordinator for Dropout. She also serves as co-lead of Data Pride NYC and an ambassador for the Foundation for Social Connection. She's currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
